Yeah, we're going to be hearing analysts and beat writers talk about the possibility of Bron going to NYC (Knicks or Nets) as a free agent for the next 2 years. Get used to it. He's the single scariest player in the league right now. Sorry Kobe. If the Erz wind up evolving enough to scratch into the playoffs, I'll be more nervous about them potentially playing the Cavs in Round 2 than about them playing the Lakers in the Finals -- and the Lakers are a much better all-around team.
Just look at what LBJ has slapped together so far THIS SEASON. In just 14 games. Jesus Christ on crutches.

The thing that's really different about Bron from all the other superstars in the league is: he doesn't even need a legit number 2 guy to make the Cavs scary. Other contenders talk about a Big 3 or going 8,9 guys deep. Bron got Mo Williams. That was Cleveland's big move. And now, you gotta give em even odds against any team in the East, including Boston. If Bron commits to going to the rack and just punishing teams, he could dunk and free throw that team all the way to the Finals with Boobie, Mo, Varejao and anybody else who needs to hop on his back. His jumper is streaky, but that dunk sure is reliable. He's Dwayne Wade circa 2006 on steroids. He could go easil;y go to the line 20 times a game if he chooses to play to his strength consistently. And no one's got an answer. He's like a small man's Shaq when he gets in the lane. It ain't beautiful basketball, but the shit is effective.
There are times when it seems like he can do just absolutely ANYTHING he wants on the court. He owns everybody. EVERYBODY.
Holy shit. Watch this video again. There are moment, during dunks and blocks, when his hand is a good 1.5 or 2 feet above the rim. And he comes at you like a roaring train. How do you stop that?
Hoops writers have been speculating for years about who the next MJ will be. It got really, really old. Vince Carter blah blah (ridiculous). Kobe blah blah (getting warmer). LeBron 2008-09 is it. This is the year of LBJ.
What are the Vegas odds on a Cavs championship? I got some money to make.
